What should you do.....

Before the interview you should do research on the company so that you know what you're walking into and you're not clueless. Most important part of an interview is to arrive on time. You never want to be late to an interview.

During the interview you should be respectful of the interviewer and treat them with courtesy and respect. Make eye contact with the person that's interviewing you. When you give statements always back it up with specific examples. Be honest and be yourself.

After the interview the interviewer will ask you if you have any questions and you should always have a question. Because of the research that you did prior to the interview there should be one question that you should ask. Even if you already know the question, that shows that you did the correct research.

What not to do....

When talking about yourself you should avoid negative statements about yourself. Don't lie but if there is something about that isn't positive don't mention it. You should never be unprepared for typical questions especially ones that are asked on everyday interviews. When talking to the person interviewing you looking professional is key. Don't chew gum or smell like smoke because it'll give the interviewer an automatic negative assumption about you
