I’m a young hardworking student that loves being around children. I find it quite easy to speak in public crowds and in a group I’m considered one of the leaders. You usually won’t find me in a corner to myself, if anything I will be walking around interacting with others. When it comes to academics and extracurricular activities I’m a very focused and friendly person I like to keep busy in whatever I am doing. I try to keep busy in any way I can whether it be in volunteering in my community or being involved with sports at my school. My skills usually excel when working with children and having to take control of certain situations.

The Career that I had found interest in was becoming a child's advocate where I work on providing assistance to children and families in a crisis. The work environment involved with that usually means you’ll have to be able to stand for long periods of time. Of course you will be interacting with children and having to drive the child and their parents to certain activities. There may be some instances where I will have to come in to work with little notice so I will have to have a flexible schedule.

This career is best for me because it’s something that caught my interest right away. Being a child's advocate revolves around the topics I’m interested in such as Law and Psychology and I’ll still be able to work with children. I can see myself being successful in this career because I’m not shy when it comes to talking to others and because of my leadership and organization skills I would be good at managing what should happen and what shouldn’t. I’m excited to get on the right path towards making this job a reality because the colleges I’m interested in work best with this career as well.
